Many cities have a chapter of the Junior League (a women's organization dedicated to charitable works), and many chapters operate thrift shops.

These shops tend to have designer and other high-quality clothes at bargain basement prices. I've gotten brand new items with the tags still on them, or like-new items, at our local Junior League Thrift Shop for less than $10 each!
And my sister recently bought three skirt suits from the haute couture rack for a combined total of $120! A great way to stock your wardrobe and be stylish, all on a
budget!
