2009 Homemade Christmas Ornaments BetterBudgeting.com's 3rd Annual Christmas Ornament Contest
1st Place - $100.00!!! 2nd Place - $50.00!!! 3rd Place - $25.00!!! (USD) Welcome to our 3rd Annual Homemade Christmas Ornament Contest! We're getting an early start on our 2009 contest this year so get your glue guns ready and have some FUN! If you do not have a digital camera don't let that stop you from submitting your ornament, just borrow one from a friend or neighbor. :o) Our contest is easy; you must be a member to submit an ornament (membership is free!) and you can submit as many ornaments as you'd like. There are a few more little details to help us gather all the ornaments together for the contest judging, but they are easy too, please see below for our submission guidelines. Submission Guidelines... E-mail us your best homemade Christmas ornaments by December 31st and you could be our 1st, 2nd or 3rd place cash winners! Our first place winner will receive a check for $100, second place $50 and third place $25! (USD) Please include the following information with your ornament submission: (Note: Submissions should be submitted in text only; please do not send html or .pdf files.) 1. Included a title for your ornament, be creative! 2. At least one clear photo of your ornament, three-four maximum. Some of our readers like to include photos of the craft process and this is very nice but NOT required. 3. A brief written introduction in your own words about why your ornament is special. 4. Explain in detail HOW we can make the ornament at home. 5. If there are any supplies that are difficult to find at local stores please include this information so we will be able to locate them, such as items that have to be purchased at specialty stores or online. 6. Any additional information you'd like to include about your ornament. 7. Your name, city and/or state/country; the way you would like us to publish it with your ornament submission. All submissions will be considered and published here on the web site and the winners will be announced in a spring issue of Living a Better Life!™ (Remember you must be a member to participate... sign up here! Membership is FREE! :o)
