Corn Dogs

If your kids
love corn dogs why not try this recipe and serve them up a special homemade
treat!
Ingredients:
1 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. corn meal
3 T. shortening
1 large egg
3/4 c. milk
1 package beef hot dogs
Wooden sticks if you can find them
Directions:
* Mix batter ingredients together until blended well.
* Dip hot dogs into batter and fry in hot oil until brown. (You don't have to
use the wooden sticks, but if you can find them they'll add a nice touch!)
* Drain on paper towels and serve with mustard (or ketchup for those that
don't like mustard ;o).
